16.Production and Consumption of Energy

Main content and source of data

Data in this chapter cover mainly the energy production and consumption and their composition, the overall balance of energy and the balance by different types of energy, the consumption of energy by sector and by types of energy the elasticity ratio of energy production and consumption, efficiency of energy conversion and the consumption of energy for non-production uses.

Since 2006, data on production and consumption of energy are announced after NBS authorized. Time of publication is August every year. So the data on energy in 2007 Statistical Yearbook is data in 2005.

Data in this chapter are Provided and processed in accordance with the statistical reporting scheme on energy by the Department of Industry and Transport of the Xinjiang Bureau of Statistics.
