Data in this chapter reflect the development of Xinjiang’s circulation of domestic market and the management situation of wholesale and retail & hotels and catering services, ect.
Adjustments were made for total retail of consumer goods in 1993,1997 and 2003.Total retail sales of consumer goods exclude means of agriculture production since 1993; exclude means of purchase of housing by residents from 1997 ,Total retail sales of consumer goods exclude direct sales of commodities by manufacturing corporations, establishments or self-employed industries to households(including to their employees) or institutions, or sales of farm products by farmers in or beside the fields since 2003(including 2003).
Criteria for wholesale and retail sale trades, hotels
and catering services above designated size is defined as follows: wholesale
trade has annual sales over 20 million yuan; retail
sale trade have annual sale over 5 million yuan; catering
services have annual income over 2 million yuan.
Data in this chapter are provided by the Division of Trade Statistics, the Xinjiang Bureau of Statistics.
