Main content and source of data

Data in this chapter show the condition of people’s livelihood in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, consisting of two parts on the life of urban and rural households respectively, including mainly basic condition of people’s household, income of households, income and expenditure of the household, the quantity and the expenditure on major commodities purchased, the housing condition and the possession of the durable consumer goods, ect.

Data on the livelihood of the urban residents come from the Department of Urban households Survey , NBS Survey office in Xinjiang.

Data on the livelihood of the rural residents come from the Department of Rural households Surveys, NBS Survey Office in Xinjiang.
