As of February 27, 2018, he was reported as being in custody (收押). [In principle, this term should not be used for those who are in prison serving their sentence, with 判刑 being the standard. However, the relevant government document appears to only differentiate between camp (送培) and custody (收押), and so it is very likely that 收押 is used as a catch-all for all non-extrajudicial detention. This is especially likely given that many documents in Hotan tend to only break detainees into "two kinds" (camp vs. custody), and not "three kinds" (camp vs. prison vs. custody).]
