how testifier(s) learned of victim's situation

After the victim had disappeared in Urumchi, his friends overseas started to look for him. But they couldn't able to get any information about him until two years they learned that he died in the detention house. RFA called to Yupurgha Public Security Bureau. One police officer who received the phone call confirmed the news about the victim's death.

additional information

He came to Turkey for travel wish his friend in April 2016. He set off from Yupurgha in May 2016 to go to Turkey. When he arrived to Urumqi. His plane was after two days, then he disappeared. After two years, his friends got the news that Ibrahim was arrested in Urumchi by Emet Ubul who was the deputy of Yupurgha Public Security Bureau. He was taken back to Yupurgha and he was interrogated in the detention house. He died in the detention house due to cruel torture.

When RFA called to Yupurgha, one of the police officers who received the phone call said that this was long ago and confirmed the news about the victim's death. The officer said that he heard from one colleague that the victim's arrest was hidden from the police and those days he was taken to hospital. When he was taken back to the detention house, he died.
