chronology of detention(s)

Detained in June 2019

RFA report (Testimony 1-2): taken by Chinese police officers on a June 31 flight from Dushanbe to the XUAR capital Urumqi, according to her sister, who lives in exile in Saudi Arabia.

Testimony 4: Prior to being deported to Tajikistan, the victim was held in a deportation center in Izmir, Turkey. Whilst the victim was at the deportation center in Izmir, Turkey, she called her sister, Jennetgul Tursun. According to Jennetgul, during that call, the victim kept saying "You have to bring documents that I am Uighur. I have to prove I am Uighur". Jennetgul lost contact with the victim a few days after that call. (Jennetgul has reportedly pleaded with Turkish authorities to help locate the victim, but has not heard anything from them yet.)
