RFA report: March 22, 2017. He was first arrested and sent to a re-education camp in Urumqi, but later transferred to a detention center in Yining county (Testimony 4: in mid-April 2017). His court session was promptly held in Yining county in July 2017, and his relatives were invited to a hearing only half an hour before they were told it would have commenced. When they finally arrived, they were told the session has ended and that he had been sentenced to 5 years in prison.
