Taken into custody on May 2, 2017 by the Minghua Street Police Station, and later transferred to the No. 2 Vocational Education Center (第二职教中心).

On November 3, 2018, his "twice inform and once announce" session was held at the camp, with him being provisionally sentenced to 3 years of camp study.

As of February 2019, he was reported as being at a camp in Xinshi District, with his wife going there to visit him on February 19. On February 21, it was decided that he could be allowed to go home for a day because of his "overall good performance at the school" (在学校综合表现良好). Taken into custody on May 2, 2017 by the Minghua Street Police Station, and later transferred to the No. 2 Vocational Education Center (第二职教中心).
