about the victim

Ehmetjan Momin (Tarimi) did his PhD studies at Nanjing University, and holds a doctorate degree in history and theology. He was the director and senior editor at the historical cultures department of the Xinjiang People's Press.

He is a well known academic, and has authored two books, "Discussion of the Study of Uyghur History" and "Uchturpan: The Ancient Land of the Silk Road". He has published more than 40 academic articles. Additionally, he has translated more than 30 books into Uyghur, including the "General History of the World".
Exmetjan Momin Tarimi. He was an academic editor at the Xinjiang People's Press. He is currently in detention and situation is unknown.

His two books, "Discussion of the Study of Uyghur History" and "Uchturpan: The Ancient Land of Silk Road", have been published. Also, more than 40 of his academic papers about history have been published on verious journals. In addition, he has translated more than 30 books, including "General History of the World", into Uyghur language and published. He also edited and published many books such as "History of Han People" and "The Fire in the Heart of Tarim", including othe hundreds of books.
