Shadiye Zakir is from Ghulja. She had worked for the Ili River electric power plant for over 30 years prior to retirement. She is a CCP member.

Chinese passport: G46420847. Shadiye Zakir, Uyghur woman from Ghulja. She worked for Electricity factory at Ili Derya over 30 years. After retiring her job in 2016, she visited her daughter in overseas twice with her husband. They got pressured by local officials after returning back.

She is the wife of victim Turaxun Jorbay. She is also a CCP member.

She and her husband were arrested in early March 2018. After 2 months in "camp" [possible that this was a pre-trial detention center], they were sent to prison on May 1 [however, the same testimony also says that they're still awaiting judgment].

According to Merhaba - as reported by RFA - the victim has been sentenced to 7 years. Testimony 1: They got arrested in March 4th, 2018. For the first 2 moths, they were placed in concentration camps. Then starting from May 1st, 2018 they were sent to prison. Current clear status is unknown.

After retiring in 2016, she visited her daughter overseas twice together with her husband. They were pressured by local officials on their return, and it is believed that this ultimately led to their detention. Testimony 2: Visiting the Netherlands

According to her daughter, Merhaba, she is not in good health. Testimony 2: after her husband passed out and was treated in a hospital, she was transferred to a prison. They are awaiting judgment.
