As of 3 August 2020, Ibrahim Tursun had reportedly been released from the camp with severe illness and left without any carer, as there was nobody else at home. [His mother, Roshengul Yasin, had already been detained.]

The precise date on which Ibrahim Tursun was released from the camp is unknown.
